Children’s hospital in Seattle deploys eCMS™ with Compliance Dashboard for Environment of Care

Eoscene a leading provider of online compliance management  solutions today announced  that  Seattle Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center has completed deployment of the Eoscene Compliance Management Service, eCMS™, product.   Children’s Hospital uses eCMS™ to automate the planning, execution and reporting of their Environment of Care tours ensuring daily compliance with Joint Commission and State regulatory standards.

The eCMS™ product combines easy to use data entry templates, task scheduling, and powerful reporting to provide compliance process control as a service. Completely web-based, eCMS™ requires minimal end-user training, can be accessed via any browser equipped device (workstation or mobile). The dashboard reporting is used by department managers, team members, internal auditors and external auditors to assess the internal controls framework of the organization, and to attest to the compliance status.

“I think it’s a great tool for the environment of care, They [my users] really like it. It saves all of us time and increases our productivity” Jeff explains. The program also includes an educational component, and can pose questions to workers such as, “How do you respond to code red in your department?” Improving staff knowledge is vital to being continually ready for Joint Commission and State surveys. “There’s a lot of training and education the Joint Commission looks at when they do their tracers,” Mr. Lim says. He says he thinks staff knowledge is improving as a result of the program.
